Swing axle and irs spring Plates for VW Volkswagen (Choose your year and model). Spring plates are available for both the swing axle and IRS rear suspension. Both are manufactured from high quality thick spring steel. The spline 4130-spring plate collars are precision welded into place and are available in several different lengths to allow use of different length torsion bars. Adjustable Spring plates are built the same way as the standard plates, except that they are adjustable. These bolt-on spring plates allow about 1 1/2" of up or down adjustment by turning one screw on each on side. Spring plate grommets are not included and are purchased separately. All standard spring plates use 1 7/8" outside and 1 3/4" inside grommets. All adjustable spring plates use 1 7/8" outside and 2" inside grommets
