This is a header exhaust for VW buggies and Volkswagen baja style cars. A header system will add horsepower and increase the rpm range. Baja headers can be combined with a quiet pack muffler or a stinger pipe. Headers are made for heater boxes or with jtubes to eliminate heater boxes. No provision for heater box has more ground clearance. Stinger pipes and glass pack mufflers can be loud. Quiet pack mufflers are much quieter and provide proper exhaust back pressure for better bottom end performance. Gas mileage can improve if you can keep your foot out of it.
