This is a rebuilt front end axle beam for VW Volkswagen Thing. This will also fit VW Volkswagen Bug and Baja 1966-1977. This is an original German thing beam with 3 inch raised adjusters welded in, new thing ball joints and oem vw thing stock raised spindles. The advantage of a thing beam is both upper and lower ball joints are turned down. It is a much stronger design when used in offroad applications. You can choose a stock thing spindle which is already has 3 inch lift built into it over the stock vw bug spindle or I now offer a 3 inch raised thing spindle which gives you 6 inches over a stock vw bug spindle. You must use 15 inch wheels with maximum 3 inch backspacing with modified 3 inch raised spindles. Modified spindles and tig welded with a laser cut plate and new chromoly spindle stub. The laser cut plate adds an additional 1/2 inch offset out. If you have a good rebuildable thing beam core for exchange, it is $600 less.
