Description   Replacement model shift couplers early and late. Late couplers have shift rods with hole through the end of the rod (early shift rods have a set screw hole). A hole is drilled into the head of the coupler screw allowing you to run wire through it. Wiring the screw around the rod and or using Loctite is a good practice.
