EMPI VW WEBER IDF Carb Kits - Type 1

engine tuning with total air and fuel metering and adjustment. The IDF-XE Plus
series IDF’s have separate idle and main circuits featuring changeable air and
fuel jets. Intake air is metered by changeable venturies and accelerator pump is
adjustable for maximum acceleration. Jets, gaskets and repair parts are readily
available world wide. All our kits are pre-jetted for VW engines. Choose the
appropriate size carburetor for your application. When future engine modification
is planned, size-up now! Basic rule of thumb...
• 40mm Carbs. for engines up to 1800cc
• 44mm Carbs. for engines up to 2200cc
44 IDF carbs come with steel velocity stacks. 40 IDF carbs DO NOT come
with velocity stacks.
