The EMPI Dual 40mm carburetor kit has been considered a reliable replacement and a great performance upgrade for
a troublesome stock carburetor setup or fuel injection system. With the advent of the EMPI 44mm electric choke Brosol/
Solex along with the 44mm non-electric choke carburetors your choices for an upgrade just got larger and broader. For
1.7 – 1.8 motors choose from the 40mm non-electric choke models, these dual carburetor kits will give you crisp throttle
response along with great fuel economy. If you have a hi-performance application or a 2.0 or bigger engine then go
with the 44mm dual carburetor setup. Then decide if non-electric choke all out performance is what you want or if cold
weather smooth running is important choose the 44mm electric choke version. All kits come complete with carburetors,
manifolds, linkage kit, hose, gaskets, hardware and detailed instructions.
