Crankshaft flywheel dowel pins for VW Volkswagen. Stock 40hp and 1600cc crankshafts use (4) 8mm dowel pins. Most performance crankshafts are drilled for 8 dowel pins. Performance dowel pins are made longer and sold in sets of 8. Sometimes they are a little too long and you must modify the pin length or the hole depth. Stock pins can still be used but are a little short.
