New engine cases for VW Volkswagen. Nothing beats the quality of a new stock factory VW Volkswagen AS41 dual relief magnesium engine case. This case weighs 17 lbs less than an aluminum aftermarket engine case and magnesium engine cases have better heat dissipation properties. AS41 mag cases are race proven and have been used by racers and restorers for many years. This is engine case can be machined to accept larger pistons and stroker cranks for performance applications. This is the same case we use when we are building 2332cc engines. Case savers have been factory installed to accept late model 8mm studs. It also has been machined for the hanger mount on Bus engines.
