Saco made in USA rack and pinions have been the VW and offroad racers choice for years and are used in SCORE, MDR, SNORE and CORR off road racing. Polished Buggy Rack-- This rack is recommended only for light weight sand cars with minimal travel and maximum weight no more than 1200 pounds. Rack is made with chromoly rack double heat treated gears. Uses a 1/2" hole 1.800" apart for the tie rod ends. Housing is fully polished. 64-1021. The standard mounting pattern makes this easy to install. The pinion has 3/4"-48 spline shaft with a keyway for easy ujoint mounting.
