EMPI VW WEBER IDF Carb Kits - Type 1, 2, 3 & 4

engine tuning with total air and fuel metering and adjustment. The IDF-XE Plus
series IDF’s have separate idle and main circuits featuring changeable air and
fuel jets. Intake air is metered by changeable venturies and accelerator pump is
adjustable for maximum acceleration. Jets, gaskets and repair parts are
readily available world wide. All our kits are pre-jetted for VW engines
Single WEBER IDF Type 1 Carb. Kits with Air Cleaner
For those that choose ease of maintenance along with performance gains,
the single 40/44 IDF is the set-up of choice. For the basic 1600-1800cc, the
40 IDF Kit is a torquey option. For all out performance, the way to go is the 44
IDF. Both carb. kits come with an assortment of jets to tune your carburetor.
EMPI also has available a selection of jets if your application requires further
"dialing in". Complete kits feature Aluminum Center-Section Manifold, Aircraft
Style Heim Joint Linkage, Chrome Air Cleaner with gauze element, gaskets
and hardware. Complete with detailed illustrated instructions and attractive
EMPI packaging. Fits Type 1 1600cc based upright engines.
