This is a 3inch lifted spindle front disc brake kit for VW Volkswagen Standard
Bug 1966-1977 (not Super Beetle). These 3 inch ball joint raised spindles are tig welded, not mig welded. This spindle also has a provision for speedometer cable. These spindle are made for the late model inner wheel bearings, grease seals and tie rod ends with 19mm nuts. If you have 1966 thru mid 1968 you will have to change those parts. These will raise you car 3 inches and without your car riding any stiffer. This VW Beetle has a stock beam with raised spindles installed. No lift kit or raised beam. There is a rebate of $25 if you send me your old spindles. Get rid of those dinosaur front drum brakes and upgrade to the stopping power of disc brakes. Disc brakes have superior braking power over drums and since 70% of your braking is the front, the difference becomes night and day. This kit will convert your front drum brakes to disc brakes. It includes 2 new brake rotors, 2 new calipers with pads, 2 caliper brackets and caliper mounting hardware. Old spindle nuts, thrust washers, and grease caps can also be reused .
