Padded transmission supports straps for VW Volkswagen. If you want to run the stock style or urethane mounts, padded tranny straps will secure and support the mounts from breaking when more horsepower is applied. Unlike solid steel mounts, padded rubber straps with stock style mounts will absorb noise and vibration, keeping you car quiet. If you have broken a front nose cone mount and do not want to change it, you can add a front support and it will stop the mount from moving. We still recommend you change the front mount eventually, but now you do not have to remove that motor and transmission. This kit includes all hardware (some not pictured). The front support in this kit is considered the easiest one to install. The transmission cradle bracket is made to accept stock or urethane mounts. It is made of thick steel and much heavier than a stock mount.
