Ignition screamer kits with coils, spark plug wires and an 009 distributor for VW Volkswagen with Bosch, Pertronix or Empi ignition components. Replace those old and tired VW ignition parts. Today's hotter coils and higher voltage spark plug wires allow your Volkswagen engine to reach peak performance levels. 009 performance distributors have more advance for better acceleration. If you upgrade to an electronic ignition module, you can take advantage of the 40,000 volt coils. I use an 009 with a made in USA electronic module, a 40,000 volt coil and Bosch wires with 90 ends on my own car. Hotter ignitions will help prevent spark plug fouling from excessive gas, especially in performance applications with dual carbs. Plugs last longer and gas mileage is increased. I run a colder spark plug in heavier cars (buses) or bigger horsepower motors. This keeps the cylinder heads cooler and the plugs stay cleaner because of the higher voltage. Our Screamer kit come complete with a brand new 009 mechanical advance distributor, new 12 volt Bosch coil and silicone 7mm copper core ignition wires. Many upgrades and options are available. This fits all 1200-1600cc Bug, Super Beetle, Karmann Ghia, Bus, and Type 3 style engines.
