Standard and machined line bore engine case main bearings, standard and oversized thrust, OEM Mahle quality crankshaft bearings for VW Volkswagen motors. MAIN, ROD AND CAM BEARINGS Manufactured by MAHLE. Available in sizes to fit any combination of crank and case configuration. Mahle has changed its manufacturing process and no longer produces bearings with Steel Backing. The new Main Bearing Sets feature Aluminum Backing. Old inventory has been depleted, the "-B" part numbers have been Discontinued and you must now order using the "-A" part number. EXAMPLE EMPI Part Number 98-1461-B with Steel Backing has been discontinued. EMPI Part Number 98-1461-A with Aluminum Backing should be ordered.
