Steel solid transmission mounts for VW Volkswagen. If you are building a car for offroad or drag racing, steel solid mounts allow no movement. These work fine for cars that interior noise and vibration are of no concern. When building for offroad vehicles, straps over the top of the transmission are essential. We have seen aluminum bellhousings and nosecoses break allowing the transmission to come out of the car. Straps over the top are essential in these applications.
