Crankshaft degree pulleys for VW Volkswagen allow you to set your timing and valve adjustments with accuracy. Degree numbers are screened on to a machined high grade aluminum pulley and then highly polished for that show car look. Black anodized pulleys feature laser engraved numbers. If your are looking for a "Santana style pulley" , then check out the Scat pulleys. Scat pulleys are made of T-6 heat treated aluminum in the USA. We use the black laser engraved T-6 pulleys on all the motors we build. The stock pulley size is 6 3/4 inch. Power pulleys are usually about 5 3/4 inch. Power pulleys are used on motors that rev high and throw the belt when stock size pulleys are used. Power pulleys can make more horsepower but the motor will run hotter because of the slower fan speed at low rpms.
