| This is a chromed LED Iron Cross light. It is 4 inches tall x 4 inches wide and almost 1 inch thick. It has a chromed housing with a stainless backing. There are 2 mounting holes on the back with 3 wires to give better mounting and wiring options. 1 wire is the ground, 1 wire is to light the cross in a regular mode and 1 wire will light the cross in a very bright mode. It is kind of like a running light in the dim mode and brake light or turn signal light in the bright mode. This can be used on tail or hitch mounting. I modified a standard hitch mount cover and a bracket that bolts on to standard VW Bug bumper bracket. I drilled 3 holes on each bracket and cut off any excess metal protruding beyond the iron cross (These brackets were originally made for something wider than the cross). This will work on off road buggies, sandcars, Harley motorcycles, classic cars, VW Volkswagens, etc. ). The possibilities are endless. Brackets are sold separately. |
