Description

A new replacement brake master cylinder is the heart of the VW Volkswagen brake system. Late model master cylinders for VW are dual circuit, controlling the front and rear brakes independently. Early master cylinders are single circuit and require a replacement rubber grommet for the reservoir line. Early bus master cylinders have a screw on plastic reservoir with a metal crush washer for sealing. Bus master cylinders are also popular for buggies and kit cars.
