This is a disc brake kit for VW Volkswagen Standard Beetle and Karmann Ghia 1947-1965. This kit will fit stock VW king and link pin drum brake spindles and allow you to bolt on disc brakes without removing the spindle. Get rid of those dinosaur front drum brakes and upgrade to the stopping power of disc brakes. Disc brakes have superior braking power over drums and since 70% of your braking is the front, the difference becomes night and day. This kit will convert your front drum brakes to disc brakes. It includes 2 new brake rotors, 2 new calipers with pads, wheel bearings and grease seals, 2 caliper brackets and caliper mounting hardware. The rotors are machined to accept special wheel bearings for link pin spindles. There is no need to remove the spindles or realign the wheels. Spindle nuts and thrust washers can be reused .
